Name, Telephone number(s), Email address(s) home address, guarantor details, Identification, DOB, University documentation, Student Finance England documentation, nationality, bank details.
Why do we want your personal data?
Your data is necessary for the performance of a contract to which you are a party to and to fulfil the requirements of the contract efficiently including the management of the property, marketing, Lettings, rent collection and maintenance.
How do we use your personal data?
For identity purposes and contractual purposes.
Who we may need to share your personal data with?
Leicester City Council, Utility companies, Emergency Services, Tenancy Deposit Scheme, the Landlord of the property, Courts, University of Leicester, De Montfort University, Maintenance contractors working on behalf of Lettings 4 Students Ltd and Bede Park Maintenance Ltd and any other financial/professional agencies.
Why we may need to share your personal data?
To fulfil the contractual obligations between the landlord, tenant and Lettings 4 Students Ltd to meet the legal requirements of housing, health and safety and other regulations applicable to renting accommodation.
How long do we keep your personal data?
Your personal data may be kept for up to 6 years due to the code of practice outlined by The Property Ombudsman and HMRC.
The right to erasure (also known as the ‘right to be forgotten’)
Unless we have reasonable grounds to refuse to erase personal data, all requests for erasure shall be complied with, and you will be informed of the erasure, within one month of receipt of your request.
